Nicotinell Mint gum is a 2mg nicotine-containing chewing gum presented in a convenient 144-piece pack. Each piece features a crispy outer coating and a soft texture, providing a refreshing mint flavour during use.

Ingredients

nicotine 2 mg acesulfame potassium, butylated hydroxytoluene,calcium carbonate, Carnauba Wax, Flavour, Gelatin, glycerol, mannitol, menthol, microcrystalline wax, mono- and di- glycerides, polacrilin, polyisobutylene, polyvinyl acetate, purified water, saccharin sodium, saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, sorbitol, synthetic terpene resin, titanium dioxide, xylitol.

How to Use

Directions: NICOTiNell® 2mg is for smokers who smoke less than 20 cigarettes a day. There are two programs to use NICOTiNell®. Program A: If you would like to stop smoking completely: 1. Use one gum when you feel the urge to smoke (refer to pack leaflet for full directions). Do not exceed 20 gums in a day. 2. After about 3 months, gradually cut down the amount of gum you chew each day. 3. When you are down to 1-2 pieces per day, you can stop using NICOTiNell® Gum. This should be possible within 6 months from the start of treatment. Program B: If you cannot stop smoking completely before starting the program: 1. When you feel the urge to smoke, you may chew one gum slowly instead of smoking a cigarette (refer to pack leaflet for full directions). 2. Gradually increase gum use for up to 6 months, while cutting down smoking. Do not exceed 20 gums a day. 3. When you have cut down the number of cigarettes you smoke to a level you feel you can quit completely, follow Program A

Do not use if: - you are under 12 years of age - you are a non-smoker - the foil seal is broken Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if: - you are under 18 years of age - you are pregnant or breastfeeding - you have uncontrolled high blood pressure - you have a stomach ulcer, kidney or liver disease you take insulin for diabetes - you have an overactive thyroid or adrenal gland cancer Do not use unless a doctor has told you to if: - you have had a heart attack or stroke - you have circulatory problems

Storage

Store below 25 degrees Celsius Storage Instructions: Keep the gum in the blister pack inside the carton until you are ready to use it. If you take the gum out of its blister pack, it may not keep well. Do not leave it in the car or on windowsills. Heat and dampness can destroy some medicines. Keep it where children cannot reach it. A locker cupboard at least one-and-a-half meters above the ground is a good place to store medicines. Storage and Disposal: If your pharmacist or doctor tells you to stop using the gum or you find that it has passed the expiry date, ask your pharmacist what to do with any gum that is left over.
